Neuralink, Boom Supersonic and Open Interpreter
+ making the move to Beehiiv.
G’day folks.
I did a little refresher on the newsletter and moved stuff over onto the fastest growing newsletter platform, Beehiiv.
Why? Because the team ship things like crazy and have some epic features that I wanted to try out.
Plus they make it super easy to customise the look and feel. Huge bonus.
If you want to try it out, click here.
Here’s the three things worth knowing about today.
Neuralink
This week the first patient to receive the brain implant from Neuralink did a live video on X.
He was able to play chess with using only his mind while holding a conversation with one of the engineers from the team.
Watch it here.
A few hours, later this post appeared on X.
Twitter banned me because they thought I was a bot, @X and @elonmusk reinstated me because I am.

Turns out, this was the first tweet post sent with using the device.
Brain only.
Amazing times.
Finally, Elon hinted that restoring sight is the next challenge for them!
And…they’ve already done it in monkeys.
Boom Supersonic
Since the Concord stopped operating shortly after the crash in 2000, it seemed the dream of supersonic passenger flight was over.
But then came Boom Supersonic.
Boom (epic name btw), are aiming to bring it back with style.
This week, they hit a huge milestone with the first test flight.
Amazing.
Soon we could be traveling around the world in a fraction of the time it takes right now.
Open Interpreter
AI is starting to make it’s way out of the browser and into devices.
Companies like Rabbit, Tab, Humane and Rewind are already working on these but now there’s a new open source player in town.
Meet O1 by Open Interpreter.
The handheld device is able to control your computer without being anywhere near it.
Just speak to it normally and it’ll do the thing.
Use it to control any application while teaching it skills so it can repeat them with a simple voice command.
Another things that is great about the O1 is that it’s completely Open Source.
All the information you need to be able to create one yourself is available.
Pre-order an O1 here.
That’s it for today.
Catch you on the next one.
p.s if you liked this I’d love it if you shared it with a friend.
